Pono MInds is dedicated to positively impacting the lives of at-risk students through new opportunities.
Developing character, coaching life-long skills, and instilling a passion for their life purpose in a positive & motivating environment.
Pono Minds will provide at-risk, disadvantaged youth with equal access to quality extra curricular programs, regardless of financial hardship, ethnicity or skill level through exposure to training and participation. Pono Minds uses the platform of the activity to empower within each student academic excellence, healthy lifestyle choices and excellent character.
Materials for Learning
A large part of any successful program is having the necessary tools needed to provide quality experiences. We work with community leaders, business and organizations to ensure that students are supported, and have access to resources and materials needed for their endeavors.
Continuing Education for those inspired to lead …
We create continuing education programs to address the needs of instructors, coaches, volunteers and their student communities. From training on the latest technology to new pedagogical methods, we help Pono Minds Leaders make their experiences engaging and successful.
Support for Communities
Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the programs to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning. We are always looking for new funding opportunities, partnerships, and volunteers. Teamwork makes the Dreamwork.
